New Footwear Collection: Introducing Ariat

We are proud and excited to announce that we have recently extended our product portfolio with a superb selection of top-quality boots from Ariat, the world's largest equestrian apparel company.
Ariat was established in 1993. The brainchild of Beth Cross and Pam Parker, who first met as classmates at the Stanford Business School and later worked together as consultants to Reebok, Ariat began with just two styles of equestrian boots. Immediately successful, the brand quickly began to grow as Cross and Parker employed seasoned equestrians to assist in the design of new styles of riding boot.
Cross was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she lived with her seven brothers and sisters on a working horse farm. One of her most vivid childhood memories is watching the Kentucky Derby on television in 1973; the prestigious race was won by a record-breaking racehorse named 'Secretariat'. Twenty years later, the memory of the horse's competitive spirit was so strong that it inspired her to name her new company 'Ariat' in his honour.
Ariat was the first company in the world to integrate the technology of athletic footwear into boots designed expressly for equestrian athletes. The company's unique partnerships with leading biomechanical research groups and independent testing labs have resulted in numerous patented technical features, such as Duratread outsoles, Hexcel cushioning technology and ATS (Advanced Torque Stability).
When designing and creating footwear, Ariat utilises a multi-layered approach, focusing with equal intensity on functionality, performance, durability and comfort. A cherry-picked team of world-class designers creates innovative, award-winning footwear and apparel which is not only manufactured with equestrianism in mind: the company's superlative products are suitable for all different kinds of outdoor environments and purposes.
Ariat has a strong commitment to improving sustainability and helping to protect the planet. A key initiative has been to collaborate with the Leather Working Group, which is an organisation that helps to set environmental standards within the industry of leather manufacturing. Ariat sources its leathers responsibly from tanneries approved by the Leather Working Group. The company has spearheaded numerous other industries at its various premises, such as increasing recycling capabilities, installing electric car charging points and ceasing to use plastic bags.
