Vareys at the Royal Lancashire Show!

Vareys Town & Country is delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at the Royal Lancashire Agricultural show later this month. The Vareys team are excitedly gearing up to attend the prestigious event, where we will be showcasing a diverse selection of our premium country clothing and accessories.

The annual Royal Lancashire Show takes place in different locations, all of which are located within Lancashire's historical country boundaries. Organised by the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Society, the show is one of the oldest events of its type in the UK, with the very first show taking place over 250 years ago in 1767.  Last year, the show attracted over 20,000 visitors and this number is set to be even higher this year.

This year's show will boast a wide range of different attractions, celebrating every aspect of rural and agricultural life. There will be lots of sporting displays, including the ever-popular showjumping event and the exciting Shetland pony grand national. Also scheduled are a number of animal competitions with categories including livestock, poultry, rabbits, goats and more.

The Royal Lancashire Show is a haven for dog-lovers and there are many events planned which feature our four-legged friends. In addition to family dog competitions and agility demonstrations, the dog scurry by the river event is set to be lots of fun for owners and pets alike.

There will be lots for children to enjoy too, from an exciting cowboy show to donkey rides and a funfair located in the dedicated children's village. Other events include displays of vintage tractors, falconry and musical entertainment. Plenty of refreshments will be available in the local artisan food and drink marquee or you can head to the beer tent if you fancy a cheeky tipple!

More than 100 exhibitor stands will be selling a wide range of products from artisan crafts to crucial countryside accessories. Vareys Town & Country are pleased and proud to be one of these exhibitors and you will find our stand loaded with our signature country clothing in the dedicated countryside marquee.

The Royal Lancashire Show 2022 takes place at Salesbury Hall in Ribchester from thee 22nd to the 24th July inclusive. Gates open at 9:30am and close at 5:30pm each day.
