Introducing R.M. Williams: Our Newest Luxury Clothing Brand

At Vareys Town & Country, we are extremely proud of our reputation for supplying outdoor clothing, footwear and accessories of superlative quality. With this in mind, we always carry out extensive research before deciding to welcome a new brand to our product portfolio. That's why we are extremely excited to introduce R.M. Williams to our collection; our research revealed that this is a brand with a long, rich heritage and which shares our own dedication to perfection across the board. 

After learning leatherwork skills from Dollar Mick, a well-known horseman from the Flinders Ranges in Australia, R.M. Williams began crafting premium-quality saddles back in 1932. An instant success with the cattle stations to which he sold the saddles, Williams used his profits to set up a shop in the humble environs of his father's shed; the location remains a retail outlet for the brand to this day.

The R.M. Williams brand quickly grew in popularity across Australia, extending its range to include numerous other leather goods, including a selection of footwear. Williams's remarkable leatherwork skills included an ability to use just a single piece of leather for the uppers of his boots, which at once enhanced durability and aesthetic appeal. This method of production is still used in the construction of R.M. Williams iconic leather boots.

Lovingly built in Australia by a talented team of artisans, Comfort Craftsman boots are one of the leading brand's signature items. These superb boots are made using crazy horse cowhide leather using a unique blocking production method, with the material treated with both wax and oil to result in a timeless aged effect. The aesthetic of the Chelsea boots is unmatched, featuring a smart chisel-square toe, flat heels and leather linings. Based on 3/5 Goodyear welted soles and fitted with comfort insoles, Comfort Craftsman boots are available in Bark or Chestnut colour options in a large range of sizes from 7 to 12 (with some half-sizes also available).

A pair of boots as prestigious as those from R.M. Williams deserves to be looked after properly and this specially-formulated boot polish allows you to do just that. Made from a top-quality blend of ingredients and entirely free of damaging alcohol, this premium boot polish restores natural shine and colour, further enhancing the durability of the footwear. Available in Natural or Chestnut colour options.
